I've taken several languages courses over the past years (not for Spanish language) but this school has been my favorite by far. The school is very well organized - the staff was always extremely fast answering any questions I had before my arrival and very helpful at any time during my stay as well. I've also booked an accommodation through the school and was very happy with my choice. The teachers are extremely good and make sure you understand things properly. Lots of free activities - for example movie night, salsa class and a language exchange each Friday. Also, weekend trips (with an extra cost) if you don't want to organize a trip yourself. I do highly recommend this school for anyone wanting to learn Spanish.

I spent 2,5 weeks at Tandem Santiago. Teachers are really good, classes are small with people from all over the world, the school organisation is perfect. Students can take part in many activities after the lessons. Thank you for a great time at your school! I hope to come back one day.

We spent a week taking Spanish lessons at Tandem in Santiago. We were here from December 9th until friday 13th 2019. We of course knew that there were some problems in Santiago due to social unrest, but the classes just go on as usual and we didn't encounter any problem. We can easily say we felt very safe. We had a great time and would recommend it to everybody who wants to learn a bit (or a lot more) Spanish! It was nice to experience that there were not only young people at the school, but also some seniors ... They have a great atmosphere, nice activities and good teachers. It was also very nice to stay at a homestay a few blocks away. The neighbourhood of Tandem is a safe area and has some nice little restaurants. Greetings from the Netherlands!

We offer four types of Spanish courses which can be taken in face to face or through videoconference mode

Spanish Group Courses: starting every monday with max. 8 students per level (media 4) morning and afternoon schedule

Spanish classes One on One: Private Spanish instruction generally in the afternoon schedule

Special Spanish Course Modules: can be taken standing alone as 2 on 1 or 1 on 1 tuition or combined with a group course.

We are prepared to include online students in our face to face Spanish group courses using videoconference platforms as Zoom, Google meet or Skype. This mode is called hybrid class and has shown to be a very effective way to assure that the course will be continued even in case that authorities may restrict the possibility of doing face to face classes. In this case the course turns to be online for all participants.

Our Spanish courses differ from those of other language schools in Santiago in terms of progression and, related to this, the short duration.

We work with 8 different levels. Each level has 1 week of duration, which means, that we pass the fundamental Spanish grammar in only 8 weeks, whereas other schools take 3 month for the same offering only a three level structure! This is your fast track to the Spanish language.

Our Spanish group instruction is divided into eight levels, each level of 1 week duration. This very narrow grid guarantees those students who have previous knowledge a good level placement, which again means few time sitting and repeating known contents.

Before starting your Spanish course we will ask you to fill in our placement test, which helps us to find the right level for you. It is very important for us that we get this test back at least 5 days before your course begins.
