Mark Maynard: Probably the best meal we had in Santiago. The skirt steak was delicious and cooked perfectly to medium rare. We shared the desserts and they finished the meal off perfectly. Wine list was extensive and the staff were happy to advise. This is quite a classy establishment.

Thiago Reis Monteiro: Was a great place but seeing people cutting the line just because they know the manager is a bit obscene. Roberto was the name of the person that was placing his “friends” before everyone else. And his excuse was that he was being a gentleman because the lady was pregnant. No sign of pregnancy thou. But apart from that good place if you are a meet lover. The prawns with mushrooms are highly recommended.

Marco Escobar: Evertime I visit Santiago I visit La Cabrera and it never disappoints. I always order the provoleta with bacon and sun dried tomatoes and Argentine sausage as appetizers. Andrew Blake: Great steak joint in Parque Arauco Mall. A nice set of starters, decent selection of cuts, from the light to the monstrous, good sides - do the mash, it’s pretty amazing. If you have a sweet tooth, the offerings aren’t huge, but the Chocolate cake is the perfect way to tie it all off. Friendly waiting staff, but cold hostess - very to the point with not much interest to accommodate, also odd restaurant policy of not being able to grab a drink and the less desirable high/stool tables until a proper table frees up. That aside, good food, really well kitted out restaurant - and you pay for it, can get pricey if you’re there for a proper meal.

David Finkel: Expecting great Chilean beef. Got Texas instead. Was hoping for a special South American steak experience. Steak was a little tuff for rib eye. Many items not available on menu, including some favorites of other reviewers. Salt grains on platter was a nice touch. Sour was good and tasty. Fried steak potatoes were very good. Overall not going back.
Francisco Diaz: Devastating. Fries are terrible, they still taste frozen, drinks have little to no taste. It’s expensive. I think they are far better places within the mall to eat. Food usually doesn’t come out right and they often do not have the entire menu. Service is weak. Money not well spent

James Kauczka: We had a great meal (split a filet because we wanted to save room for dessert) and lovely bottle of Chilean wine. Price was great, service was great, food was great. FYI, staff and menu (QR code via wifi) are only in Spanish so you must know some Spanish or at least use Google to translate for us English only speakers. It was not an issue as we know enough Spanish to order. The Creme Brûlée and Chocolate Lava cake were delicious.

Gigliola Lubiano: I was amazed at how poor the service was. We asked for bread and got it at the end of the meal. The entrees came for half of the party, the other half showed up 10 minutes later along with the side dishes. I told the server I was between tuna and steak. Told him I preferred tuna, but only if it was fresh. He he told me not to worry, very fresh! It was absolutely not. I had to send it back. Then it showed up on the bill. Ordered dessert but it never showed up. Will not go back.

Hani Rizkallah: Food is ok but a far cry from what this restaurant used to be. The sides are small, the wine options not complete and the service levels let this restaurant dow. I will not be returning having visited for over a decade and calling it one of my favourite places to eat in the world.
Sebastian st-laurent: I highly recommend this restaurant. Been to many places and this one is by far my favourite. The patio is big, the inside the restaurant is upscale and very well designed. The food is absolutely amazing. Make sure you have steak. The pisco sour is also a must. The service is fast and they are also knowledgeable of the meat and will recommend great salads, wine and desert to compliment your experience. Dinning here will cost you a little more than most restaurants in Santiago but it’s worth every $.

Julio Terra: This restaurant serves up solid meat fare but the service is lacking considering the prices. In our recent visit our orders were brought to the table in truly haphazard manner - one salad was brought our 10 minutes before the appetizers, while another one was brought our after everyone had finished eating their main course.
Richard Leibel: Excellent, while in Santiago we went twice for dinner. Once with a group of 5 and once on our own. The food was very good, the service was great. If your looking for an awesome place for dinner while in Santiago, you have just found it.

David Galvin: Wow! The steaks here are very good. I ordered and ate the bife de chorizo a la pobre... It was a 500 gram cut of juicy and tender beef. Cooked to a perfect medium rare. It was way too much food, and it was a case of “my eyes were bigger than my stomach” but damn... I hadn’t eaten all day and it was delicious. Outstanding service. It isn’t cheap, but it’s cheaper than Ruth’s Chris and the quality of the product was top notch. Highly recommended!

The food is really good, the place has plenty of space, the wine menu has several options and we had a friendly reception. Wish I had found more similar options in Santiago.

And although we stumbled through some bad spanish on my part. The waiter was patient and courteous. The food was very good, no complaints from either of us. Took off a star as they were out of the beer I ordered. But offered a replacement option. We went early to avoid crowds as another person suggested. The 6-8:30 time frame was quiet. It started filling up with larger parties around 9ish.

Alessandro: Had a real good experience we had booked for 8 people and changed to 14 pretty last minute and they had no problem accommodating more us. The food was fanatic my favourite cut was the skirt, as a sides we got the potato gratin which was super delicious.

Josiah Burke: This was our last meal in Chile and it did not disappoint. We ordered salmon and tuna with a side of fries and it was all absolutely delicious. We got beers suggested by the waiter which were very good and served in a big glass mug. The service was fantastic as well. We also tried on some of the costumes and headgear for photos which the waiters helped take. Really interesting and extensive decorations, right down to the fur on the chairs and Nordic music/chanting/metal. Overall a wonderful experience all around. If I find myself in Santiago again I will 100% go here again. (also the only place in all of Chile to offer hot sauce, unprompted, which was awesome!)
Jaunty Thiag: Good grilled meats, sides, beers and cocktails with the vikings themes. Place is wildly decorated with vikings props and quite interesting to look around. The 2 seater tables are facing the walls, which was very weird that we have to stare at the wall, instead of looking at the person who comes with you or other interesting artefacts they have.

Rubén Luco Rozas: It is a good restaurant. There is an interesting proposal in the presentation of some of its dishes and the food, without being excellent (in terms of flavor, seasoning and portion), is of an acceptable level. On the other hand, the attention of the staff is cordial and it did not take long to attend to us. It is not at all a friendly restaurant for people on a vegetarian diet.
Isadora Santos: Place with delicious meat, excellent service and good drinks. Very pleasant environment. However, as not everything is flowers, I found the values very expensive for a restaurant in the mall. We pay the same amount in better restaurants in quantity and quality!

Catalina Bravo Toncio: Excellent place to try good cuts of meat! We ordered the "Tasting" which included cuts of Entraña, Loin Vetado, Steak and Flat Iron. Really a tremendous experience, almost like mindful eating, since each bite can be of a different cut, where you appreciate different flavors and textures in the mouth, each with its own charm. The small but tasty salad. The cocktails, Tonic Raspberry mint and Gin Ale, rich and fresh. I recommend it!

Janne Thomsen: Not a good experience. The meat tasted spoiled, the prawns were hard and the "steak" was also visually a disaster (as seen in the picture). I definitely cannot recommend this restaurant.
Jeremy Smith: I’m glad I decided to eat here. The steak was cooked to perfection with an ample amount of mushrooms and mash potato. The reserva matched fine and the place has really good service
Sandy Bower Johnson: Food not great, service acceptable, beer cold. Ordered papas fritas with ketchup only and was upgraded without discussion to the Montana fries. Should have looked at reviews before stopping, will not be back. Cute area but have yet to find a good restaurant here.
Andrea MacKay: Badly managed, sub-par food, needs some cleaning also. Servers are untrained. The consensus is accurate. There’s a reason it’s empty on Friday night 8pm (it’s not because it’s early in the evening, other places are getting busy at this hour). Steaks are low-quality.
